With respect, as a past programmer I would feel bound to say that writing your own Access database system to manage a private book collection of only 2000 books could well be an academic exercise in futility - a bit like designing a better mousetrap. Can anyone help me and suggest either 1) a book that will help to write (easily) a personal book database in Access 2013, or 2) a template that is designed for a personal book collection that can be altered slightly to accommodate
